Replacement stems for older Manabloc systems that originally had black stems are no longer manufactured. The older black stems with a smaller diamond pin were prone to the diamond pin breaking off, prompting a redesign of the stem. The new stems are available in red or blue color and feature an increased size of the diamond pin to enhance resistance against breakage. If your existing ManaBloc stems are black, red, or blue and can turn 360 degrees, this is the correct product for your system. The newer stem uses the red T-handle (50601), which has a larger diamond slot, and turns a quarter turn to switch between off and on, while still allowing a 360-degree rotation. This product is the original OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) item, made in the USA, and offers reduced flow noise. The installation instructions are provided in the pictures accompanying this listing.
