Product Description: - Will the PEX crimper come with a gauge? Yes - Do I need to calibrate the crimper before every crimp? No, the crimper is factory-adjusted and ready to use upon arrival. If the crimping result fails to pass the Go/No-go gauge, you will need to adjust the numeric settings. - How should I calibrate the crimper? Add one numeric only in each calibration, i.e. change the default setting with numeric "1" and "2" to numeric "2" and "2". Tighten the locking nut and crimp again. If the crimping result fails to pass the Go/No-go gauge again, calibrate it again. - The PEX crimper meets ASTM F1807 Standard and is compatible with 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch copper rings in PEX pipe connection. The well-polished jaws ensure no damage to the copper rings to avoid leaking. - It is constructed of durable steel to ensure an integrated mechanical property and a calibration function to support a long service life. - The lightweight and short handles improve operability performance in narrow spaces, and the innovative new design saves deformed rings.
